Rollator Guide

Large selection of quality rollators at HV Care - The right solution for your mobility!

At HV Care, we understand the importance of having the right support, whether you use a walker indoors or outdoors. We offer a wide range of quality walkers to suit your needs, lifestyle and budget.

What should you choose: indoor or outdoor walker?

The difference between indoor and outdoor rollators lies primarily in their design and functions:

  • Indoor rollators are small, compact and maneuverable – perfect for home or nursing home use. They have smaller wheels, making them easy to maneuver in tight spaces, and the weight capacity is designed for indoor use.

  • Outdoor rollators are larger, more robust and designed to handle uneven terrain and weather. The larger wheels and stronger frames ensure stability and safety when you are out walking on uneven surfaces.

Consider a lightweight rollator – easy to handle and transport

A lightweight rollator is ideal if you want a mobile, yet light and practical solution. Made from durable, yet lightweight materials, they offer optimal comfort, adjustable handles and an ergonomic design so the rollator adapts to your height and posture.

Why choose a Carbon rollator?

Carbon rollators are the modern favorite! Built from strong carbon fiber material, they are both lightweight and extremely robust. The low weight makes them easier to maneuver, which is especially beneficial for people with balance problems or reduced strength. The carbon fiber material is also resistant to damage and rust - a durable investment in your mobility.

Rollator Adjustment Guide

  1. Stand upright in front of your rollator with your back straight and your arms down at your sides to find the correct position.

  2. Adjust the handles : Adjust the handles so that they are at the height of your wrist bone. This ensures an ergonomic position where you don't have to bend forward or up to hold the handles.

  3. Seat height : The seat should be adjusted so that you can sit comfortably with your feet flat on the ground. When you sit, your legs should be able to relax completely and you should be able to reach the ground without stretching your legs unnecessarily.

  4. Remember the importance of correct seat height : If the seat is too high, it can be difficult to reach the ground, which can result in discomfort and imbalance. Too low can mean you can't relax your legs when you sit down.

With proper adjustment, you can get the most out of your rollator, ensuring comfort and safety during walks and rest breaks.
